Valencia was named club captain at the beginning of the season following Michael Carricks retirement, but he has not started a Premier League game since the 1-1 draw with Wolves in September.The 33-year-old, though, has featured in the club’s recent Champions League games.According to The Times,Valencia has told his friends he doubts he will be able to win over his manager and is thinking about leaving the club he joined from Wigan.It was only in January 2017 that Mourinho called Valencia the best right-back in football when he signed a contract extension.I dont see it as a reward, he said at the time.
