Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are set to go head-to-head in an attempt to land Chelsea’s teen sensation Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer.Bayern club president Uli Hoeness recently announced that the Bundesliga side will undergo the ‘biggest investment programme’ in their history, with the England youngster expected to be a key target.1

Bayern remain desperate to sign the 18-year-old as they seek a long-term replacement for wingers Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, who will both call time on their careers at the club at the end of this season.The German club saw several bids rejected in January, including a 35million offer, but they are expected to return with an improved bid this summer after a disappointing Champions League campaign.We are in the process of rejuvenating our team, Hoeness said at a brokerage fair in Munich. It’s the biggest investment programme FC Bayern has ever had.Hudson-Odoi’s contract expires in the summer of 2020 and Chelsea may be forced to cash-in if Bayern come knocking with a big-money offer.The winger, who rejected a lucrative contract offer and handed in a transfer request in January, reportedly still needs convincing if he is to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer.
