Chelsea have signed Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus, the Premier League club have confirmed.Higuain, the Argentina forward, has penned a deal until the end of the season after terminating his loan with Juve’s Serie A rivals Milan.

The 31-year-old, who scored eight times for Milan throughout the opening half of the season, reunites with his former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.He scored 36 league goals in 2015/16 while playing under Sarri to be named Serie A’s Capocannoniere, and he earned his 75million move to Juve off the back of his superb form for the San Paolo club.Higuain has netted a total 275 goals in European football since first joining Real Madrid from River Plate in 2006, while he’s also been on the scoresheet 31 times for Argentina since debuting in 2009.2
