Tottenham 0-1 West Ham: Michail Antonio explains the reason for THAT goal celebration
Tottenham succumbed to their first defeat at their new stadium thanks to a superb Michail Antonio goal. The Englishman latched onto a lovely-weighted cross from Marko Arnautovic to smash home and seal a brilliant three points on the road for the Hammers.1Although the goal was a thing of beauty – it was Antonio’s hilarious and bizarre celebration that’s got everyone talking. And he has has now revealed the reason for the peculiar dance.Speaking to Sky Sports following the victory, he said: “There’s this guy on Instagram, Danrue, that does crazy dance moves. I saw it the other day and I’ve been busting it out in a couple of clubs so time to bring it out on the pitch. It lets me show my personality.”Antonio, who netted his sixth Premier League goal of the season in the match, was a menace throughout the game – causing carnage for the Spurs defence with his pace and power. However, the afternoon could have ended in tears for the visitors, when Janssen met Juan Foyths cross with a header. If it wasn’t for Fabian Balbuena who reacted superbly to clear the effort off the line, it could have been a very different story. And it sums up a strange season for the Hammers, who have failed to put together a consistent run of results throughout the campaign.
